Police

The Patrol Division is the backbone of most departments. With 42 officers assigned to this area, ours in no exception. Patrol officers are usually the first contact with the public. Although all these officers are trained as Paramedics or Emergency Medical Technicians along with being certified Firefighters, the busiest part of their work day involves police patrol. Our officers patrol over 13 square miles. They respond to approximately 18,000 calls for service each year. Our officers take great pride in their department and in their community. They look forward to serving our citizens to make this a great place to live, work, and play.
