Ashwaubenon Community Pool Facts

  • Competition pool is 25 yards in length 4’ deep in shallow, to 12’6” in deep.  The competition course has been certified in accordance with the USA Swimming’s Rule 104.2.2C(4). The copy of certification is on file with USA Swimming.
  • Temperature of Competition pool is 78°- 80°.
  • Two 1-meter diving boards.  Model is Duraflex’s “Maxiflex” Model B. with mechanical surface agitation under each board
  • Spectator seating above for 449, with stair or elevator access.
  • Concession stand operation on upper level for larger events w/ event monitor
  • Multi-purpose room directly off pool deck has seating for 24, counter w/ small sink, 2 dry erase boards and 80” TV / smart-board for trainings.
  • Competition lane widths are 7’ clear, 7-6” center to center. 6” Competitor lane lines.
  • Competition pool in-water capacity is 99, with 315 allowed on deck.
  • Paragon starting blocks on all lanes w/ track start feature with sided hand grips as well as vertical & horizontal backstroke bars and side step.
  • Colorado Champion Series Start System with speaker located under each starting block.
  • Colorado System 6 Timing Console and touchpads (aquagrip).  Pads plug into deck plates.  
  • Full color 23mm CTS LED scoreboard. Ability for video playback.
  • Two Dolphin Wireless backup stopwatch per lane system.
  • Seven Wireless judging Terminals for diving that seamlessly integrate with the LED scoreboard.
  • Main pool has 4 locker rooms. Two “public” and two “swim team”.
  • Warm water pool is 3’ on one side, going to 4 ½ feet on the other side.  Depth goes side to side, vs. end to end.
  • Warm water pool temperature is 87° - 89°.
  • ADA handicapped ramps in both pools, as well as pool step entries. An aquatic wheelchair is available on site for easy water entry.
  • Warm water pool in-water capacity is 42, w/ 173 allowed on deck. There is bench seating on one side of the warm water pool.
  • Warm water pool area has 3 family / private changing rooms.
  • Full public address system. Music/announcements can be independent based on specific pool, or jointly made.
  • Spacious lobby with waiting area, office counter, drinking fountain, information racks and event monitor.
  • Chlorination system is calcium hypochlorite. Becs 7 controllers with hi-rate sand filters.
