Community Garden Program
Registrations for 2023 NEW gardeners begins Tuesday, March 14.
There are still great plots available!
The establishment of Ashwaubenon’s 1st “community garden” was approved at the January 2011 Park Board meeting. After good discussion, the west end of Bill Diamond Fields was chosen as our site. The plot of land is located directly behind one of the Village’s storage buildings, and is within a stones-throw of the yard waste drop-off area. There is room for over 50 garden plots at the site. These plots are a combination of inorganic & organic is 20' x 20'. Water lines have been run so gardeners will be able to give their plants plenty to drink during any dry spells.
Returning gardeners are allowed to sign up for one (1) plot only. The fee per plot is $25 (plus tax) for the season (roughly May through October). Please call our office prior to sign-ups for additional details.
We now have two raised garden boxes available to garden in. Call our office for details!
