National Forensic Science Week
The 10th annual National Forensic Science Week will take place from September 18-24, 2022. Across the nation, agencies and organizations will honor the dedication and hard work of those in forensic science.
CSI: WI Event
To honor those in the Fox Valley and Greater Green Bay areas who work in forensic science, local organizations have created a free, hands-on event to further educate and bring attention to their work. The first annual CSI: WI will take place on Friday, September 23rd from 4:30-6:30 p.m. in the Willard parking lot at Ashwaubenon High School.
There will be booths and tents with professionals from the area demonstrating equipment, allowing visitors to participate, and teaching the importance of their work. Resources will also be available for those interested in furthering their education or obtaining a career in forensic science. A mock crime scene tent will be available to walk through and find clues to solving a crime! When you're finished with that, you can head over to the photo booth for fun picture opportunities.
Departments hosting this event include:
- Ashwaubenon Public Safety
- Green Bay Police Department
- Appleton Police Department
- Menasha Police Department
- Grand Chute Police Department
- Fox Valley Technical College
