Tree & Park Bench Donation Program
The Village of Ashwaubenon Parks, Recreation and Forestry Department maintains over 283 acres of park and recreation land. As our park system grows, we need trees for shade and park character as well as benches for visitors to rest and enjoy the scenery. The Village of Ashwaubenon Parks, Recreation and Forestry Department would like to offer you an opportunity to honor someone special, toremember a loved one or to recognize a person/organizations special achievements through our Tree and Park Bench Donation Program. This program will provide individuals, families or organizations a way to show their appreciation through enhancing the beauty and variety of our parks.
If desired, a Parks, Recreation and Forestry staff member will be happy to meet with you to discuss desired sites, trees, benches and other amenities. Trees will be planted at the appropriate time of year to ensure optimal growth (typically May and October as weather permits.) There are six tree species available for this program. Tree donors are also recognized on our donor plaque, which is located at the Ashwaubenon Village Hall. Benches will be installed on concrete slabs in the summer or fall.
Please contact the Ashwaubenon Parks, Recreation and Forestry Department Office at 920.492.2331, located in the Community Center at 900 Anderson Drive, Green Bay, WI 54304, to discuss donation options.
