Property Tax Collection

The Village cannot accept late 1st installment or 2nd installment payments.
These payments should be sent to Brown County Treasurer Office.

IMPORTANT: The USPS now applies postmarks when mail reaches regional sorting centers rather than when first received, which may delay the official mailing date of property tax payments—residents are encouraged to mail early or use online payment options to avoid late fees.

First Installments of real estate taxes and all personal property taxes can be paid in-person at Village Hall during normal business hours beginning Monday, December 8, 2025 until January 30, 2026. A drop box will also be available for after-hours collection.

Taxes can also be mailed to following Village address; however, must be post marked on of before January 31, 2026.
