Village Manager
Joel Gregozeski serves as the Village Manager of Ashwaubenon, bringing more than 25 years of experience in public service and local government. Since November 2020, he has overseen the Village's day-to-day operations, managing an annual operating budget of more than $40 million and leading a workforce of over 120 full-time equivalent employees.
As Village Manager, Joel is responsible for implementing policies established by the Village Board, ensuring efficient and effective municipal services, and supporting the Village's continued economic growth and development. He also serves as the Village's personnel director and public information officer, helping keep residents informed and engaged on matters affecting the community. In addition, the Village Manager serves as an ex officio, non-voting member of all Village boards, commissions, and committees, except where otherwise provided by the Village Board or Wisconsin Statutes.
During his tenure, Joel has led a number of key initiatives, including strategic planning efforts, updates to Village policies, and successful collective bargaining agreements. Over the past five years, Joel has helped guide significant economic development activity that has contributed to a significant increase in equalized value. Joel also played a leadership role in organizing and celebrating Ashwaubenon's 150th anniversary and leading the Village’s planning and operations related to the 2025 NFL Draft.
Joel is committed to maintaining high-quality public services while positioning Ashwaubenon for continued growth and success. Through collaboration, innovation, and responsible stewardship of public resources, he works to ensure Ashwaubenon becomes and remains a dynamic community of choice, leading northeast Wisconsin through opportunity, connection, and belonging.
