Park History: Jerry VanSistine Park was developed in 2024, completed in 2025, and officially named on May 20, 2025, by the Parks and Recreation Board in honor of Jerome 'Jerry' VanSistine. VanSistine represented the 30th District as a Wisconsin State Senator from 1976 to 1992. His public service also included terms on the Ashwaubenon Town and Village Boards as well as time as a Brown County Supervisor, marking a lifelong dedication to the community.
