Wendy Helgeson serves as the Village Clerk of Ashwaubenon, bringing more than 17 years of municipal clerk experience to the role. Her career includes serving as Deputy Clerk for the City of Appleton and, most recently, Village Clerk in Greenville, Wisconsin. She holds the Certified Municipal Clerk designation through the Wisconsin Municipal Clerks Association.
As Village Clerk, Wendy oversees a broad range of essential municipal functions, including administering local elections, maintaining official village records, issuing licenses and permits, and supporting Village Board meetings. She values the variety of her role and the opportunity it provides to work alongside staff, residents, and board members. She is a dedicated public servant who prioritizes collaboration and teamwork in all aspects of her work. Outside of the office, she enjoys spending time outdoors, cooking, and cherishing moments with her grandchildren.
